To make the bird entrance, you are going to use a hammer and a nail to make indents then drill in the indents.

Making the Door.

Use wire cutters to make a hole big enough for your saw blade. Put the metal saw blade in the vice-grip. Then use your make shift saw and cut out two thirds of the hole, then bend the metal door in and out really fast to make it snap.

Make the Door Smooth.

Once the door falls out use a file to smoothen the edges. After that use sandpaper to make it really smooth.

Put Your Rubber In

After that find a piece of rubber and make a hole in the centre. Then put tape on the places where you are drilling in kettle so you don’t crack the paint. After that put your rubber where you are drilling.

Put to Holes in Your Rubber

Then take your second rubber drill two holes in it at the top and bottom.

Put the rubber with the hole inside the kettle and screw the other one to the front. Fold the rubber on the outside down, and screw it in place to create the cover.
