Smoothies are a great, tasty way to get fruits, and sometimes veggies, into your diet in a delicious way. They are very simple and anybody can make them. My favorite smoothie is one that resembles the captain berry crunch cereal; below you will find how to make one for yourself.

Here’s what you need:

  • · Blender
  • · 8 oz. of water or milk
  • · ½ cup frozen blueberries
  • · ½ cup frozen strawberries
  • · 1 tablespoon powder peanut butter
  • · 2 scoops of Herbalife vanilla protein (or 1 serving of any vanilla protein of your choosing)
  • · 2 scoops of Herbalife cookies and cream (optional

**Makes 1 serving**

Once you have all your supplies together you are ready to get your blend on!

Pour Water or Milk Into the Blender.

I use a single blender cup but a regular size blender works just as well. If you are not using Herbalife Formula 1 Cookies and Cream, using vanilla almond milk instead of water will help add flavor and sweetness.

Measure and Add Frozen Fruit.

Add in ½ cup frozen blueberries and ½ cup frozen strawberries. Tip: Frozen sliced strawberries work better than whole ones because they are easier on your blender in the long run.

Measure and Add in 1 Tablespoon of Powder Peanut Butter.

I like to use PB2 in my smoothies. If you do not have powder peanut butter, regular peanut butter will work as well but the flavor may not be as strong.

Measure and Add in Vanilla Protein Powder.

I like to use Herbalife Vanilla Protein Drink Mix, one serving is 2 scoops. You can use any vanilla protein powder you prefer for this smoothie and use the recommended serving for that particular brand.

Measure and Add in 2 Scoops of Formula 1 Cookies and Cream (Optional)

If you are not using Herbalife, see step one on using vanilla almond milk to help with flavor.

Blend Until Smooth - About 30 Seconds.

If your smoothie is too thick you can add in more liquid until desired consistency. Depending on your taste buds next time you can add in more fruit or more peanut butter until your heart's content.

Drink Up and Enjoy!!
