How to Make a Bag

Today is the day that you learn how to make a bag with a zipper! It is a great way to store supplies or anything that you want to carry in a bag.

To start you will need to gather your supplies.

You will need:

• Fabric
• Hot Glue Sticks
• Hot Glue Gun
• Zipper
• Needle
• Thread
• Scissors

The first step is to cut your fabric. I cut mine about as long as 2 mechanical pencils. You will need to cut to of the same size rectangles and put them inside out facing each others front.

To sew you will need to start by threading the needle and tying a knot at the end. Then start to sew along the edges. Make sure that your fabric is facing inside out. This is so that your stitches will not show when the bag is done.

Once you are done sewing you will need to tie off the knot on the end of the needle. After you are done tying off the knot you can flip you bag back to the right side.

Now you will need to get your hot glue gun and hot glue sticks. Wait about 5 minutes for your hot glue gun to heat up before you use it. Plug in your hot glue gun and get your zipper.

It is now time for the zipper. You will need to get the end of your zipper and put two dots of hot glue on each side of the zippers end. You need to fold the sides onto the hot glue dots. After you do that put the zipper end on the corner of the fabric.

Once you have your zipper end in you can start the rest of it. I did small sections of hot glue at a time so it did not dry to fast. Make sure that you are not getting glue on your zipper.

To finish off the zipper you need to do the same thing you did at the start. Put dots on each side and fold it so it is sealed off.

Now that you are done with the zipper you can add finishing touches. You can add different things like stickers, jewels, and any other things that you want to put on your bag.

Now that you have added the finishing touches you are done. You have made a bag! You can put anything that you want in it!
