How to Make Your SDR Video Look Cinematic With HDR Upgrade

I use an SDR to HDR converter to breathe new life into my old videos. Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) often looks flat and dull on modern high-resolution displays, while HDR enhances brightness, contrast, and color depth. With just a few clicks, I can make my footage look more cinematic, vibrant, and professional—perfect for YouTube, presentations, or archiving. It’s an easy way to upgrade video quality without re-shooting.
Supplies
Launch UniFab, Choose HDR Upconverter Module, Import Your Video

Install and launch UniFab AI. In the main interface, go to "All Features" (UniFab All-in-One includes multiple tools for various video enhancement needs). Select the "HDR Upconverter" module and import your video.
Custom Output Settings

You can customize the HDR format (HDR10 or Dolby Vision), color space, output quality, file format, and more.
