How to Make Homemade Cake Pops

Have you ever been at home, craving a sweet rich savoring treat and been wanting how to make one? Well here's how you make a delicious cake pop in just 12 easy steps!

Supplies

Make sure to grab all your ingredient's which include:

  • cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • chocolate (preferred flavor)
  • frosting (preferred flavor)
  • lollipop sticks
  • sprinkles (optional)

Preheat Oven to 350°F

Before doing anything, make sure to preheat your oven to 350°F. Don't forget this step!

Grease the Pan

Grease your 9x13 inch pan and make sure to get the sides as well!

Mix Together Ingredient's

Mix together the cake mix, 1/2 cup of vegetable oil, 1 cup of water, and 3 eggs into bowl. Beat together until smooth!

Pour Batter Into Greased Pan

Pour batter into 9x13 inch greased pan! Don't fill it up to high though, its okay if you have some batter left over!

Place Into Oven

Place your cake batter into preheated oven. Let it bake for about 28-30 minutes. Make sure its done by sticking a toothpick in the center of the cake and if it comes out clean, its done.

Let Cool

Once its done and cooked all the way... let the cake cool for about 20 minutes before moving on to the next step!

Create the Dough

Crumble the cake up into pieces and add frosting little by little until the consistency is smooth and sticks together well. Place into freezer for about 10-15 minutes until for it too cool for a little!

Form Cake Balls

Roll the cake dough into ball form shapes and arrange onto baking sheet. Place lollipop sticks into each ball and then into the freezer for about 30-45 minutes!

Melt Chocolate

While waiting for the dough to cool for a little, melt your chocolate! Place chocolate into microwave and do 30 second intervolves until its completely melted.

Dip Cake Pops Into Melted Chocolate

Once the cake dough has chilled, take them out of the freezer and dip each cake pop into melted chocolate. Repeat until each one is covered completely!

Add Sprinkles

Just to make your cake pops a little bit more fancier and tastier, add sprinkles! Once finished with your toppings, place into freezer to cool one last time for about 5-10 minutes!
