How to Make Sugar Body Scrub

IMG_1155.JPG

Today I will be sharing a brown sugar body scrub recipe, it helps exfoliate, hydrate, and moisturize dry skin while also getting rid of all of your dead skin. You can use it on your face, hands, feet, etc. — anywhere on your body, really. It leaves you feeling silky smooth when finished. All you need are a few simple ingredients. Most of these ingredients can be found in your kitchen.

Ingredients

By doing this, helps insure that everything is clean and sanitized in case for other people.

Pour Your Sugar

Add 1 tablespoon of your choice of sugar. I am using Demeraka Cane Sugar but as far as sugar, decide what texture you’d like and that will determine what kind of sugar you use. Coarse sugar will give you a more coarse scrub and fine sugar will give you a more fine scrub.

Pour Your Oil

Add 1 teaspoon of Coconut Oil. You could also use other oils such as avocado oil, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, or any other neutral oil. You should try to avoid using Olive oil unless you prefer that scent.

Pour Your Scent

Add 3-4 drops of your desired scent. I used a scent called ''A Thousand Wishes'' by Soup Goods. Their oils and scents are reasonably priced. By doing this it just adds a more spa like feel.

Add Your Vitamin E

And one capsule of Vitamin E, cut open the the capsule and pour it in to your container. The Vitamin E works as a natural preservative. It also helps to add a nice shine to your skin.

MIX,MIX, MIX!!!!

Now that you have everything in the container, mix it all together. Mix it until it is all smooth to ensure that there isn't any clumps. If you find it to be clumpy add more oil. If you find it to be dry, add more oil.

Finished Product

Put the lid on and you're finished!

DISCLAIMER: After using any scrub with oil in it, I suggest you rinse your shower down with a cleanser that breaks down oil-based products. This way you do not have any slip and falls!
