How to Make Stickers!

These DIY stickers are super easy to make and don't require many supplies! They're customizable, good quality and are sticky for a long time. This instructable will teach you how to make your own stickers and hopefully, you will!

Supplies

What you'll need to make your stickers!

  • A picture of any size - you can print one off the internet or draw one
  • Scissors
  • Packing Tape
  • Wax Paper

Choose a Picture

Choose any picture that you want and either print it or draw it. You can also trace it if you want.

I chose to print my picture, but drawing and tracing look nice too.

Once you have your picture, cut around the shape of it leaving a tiny border of the white paper.

Taping

Now to begin making a sticker!

Lay down a piece of parchment or wax paper and put your packing tape sticky side down. It doesn't matter if the strips are horizontal or vertical. Make sure that the tape is a bit larger than your picture and depending on the size, you may need to use more than one strip of tape. If you do, just make sure that the strips overlap a tiny bit.

Double-check that there are no air bubbles!

Add Your Picture and Another Layer of Tape

Place your picture on top of the tape.

It doesn't have to be perfectly centred because we're going to cut around it at the end.

Add another layer of tape over the picture and carefully take your sticker off of the parchment paper!

Cut Around the Picture

Carefully cut around your picture and cut off the excess tape.

Make sure to leave a little border of tape around the picture just like you did when cutting out the original picture otherwise the pieces of tape might separate from each other.

Enjoy!

Now you have your completed stickers!

You can place them anywhere you want but make sure you leave some wax paper to stick them on if you want to reuse them or if they are not being used at the moment! Hopefully, these stickers were easy to make and they turned out well for you!
