How to Make Slime

MAKE SLIME
s1.png

You can make slime with things you can find around your house, at a local store, or things you can buy online.

Make sure that you have your area clean and have something to clean up the mess that you WILL make. But hey, that's part of the fun. :)

Supplies

Mix It Up and Enjoy

First thing is to put some glue in the cup. Put about a spoon and a half of glue into the cup.

Measure out 4 capfuls of water using a bottle cap and place into the cup. Mix thoroughly until you can’t tell the difference between water and glue. It should look like milk. LOL

Put in at least six drops of food coloring. Mix it up really well until you see the color change completely. You don’t want it to look clumpy. You want it to look all the same color. This will be the base of your slime. The next two ingredients are really cool when added.

Put a spoonful of baking soda and mix it up to where it’s really runny with no clumps. You want it to look like one complete liquid.

Now add the (magic) contact cleaner. Pour in about a half spoon of contact cleaner and stir thoroughly. The more you stir it the better it’s going to be so just keep stirring. It’s going to get thicker and tougher to stir but keep going!

You should see it start to form into slime. It can end up being different types of slimes depending on how much ingredients you put in. If you want to thicken it then add more contact cleaner, about a half spoon at a time. Stir each time you add contact cleaner.

Note: if you add too much baking soda it will most likely turn into small balls of slime.

And that is it!

If you let this slime sit out overnight it’s just going to separate so if you want to keep this slime put it into an airtight container.

This slime is safe for your hand, but you may want to have plastic gloves for this. When you are finished make sure that you wash your hands completely.
