How to Make Rubber Coated Tumblers

The Rubber Coated Tumblers are better suited for outdoor; its rubber coated provides a secure, non-slip grip and is perfect for use on the go or in harsh environments.

And now is going to use a Thunder Laser system to decorate the Rubber Coated Tumblers. Let’s start to explore fun with the laser!

Supplies

Material: Rubber Coated Tumblers

Laser head: 2" head

Laser engraving machine: Thunder Bolt Pro32 55watt

Setting Parameters

Processing Mode:

Engraving speed: 300mm/s

Engraving power: 25%

DPI: 400

Passes: 2

For best results, it is recommended that the first of the two passes be at an angle of 0 and the second at an angle of 180.

You can also draw on CorelDraw and then click on the laser plug-in to switch to the laser software. Set the appropriate parameters on the laser software and click Download to transfer the design to your laser engraving machine.

Engraving It

Clamp the cup on the laser rotary attachment that is put with the package, move the laser head to the highest point of the cup and adjust the focus to avoid sensor collision. You can use auto and manual focus. Press “Origin” on the LCD control panel to set the starting position, then press “Start” to begin working.

The nature of rubber is that after engraving it produces a greyish powder. And we can remove the powder with a toothbrush and running water. Clean it and then you can assemble it. Let's do it ourselves!
