Ingredients
There are 3 main components when building this rocket candy:
-Sugar
-Potassium Nitrate
-Rust
You need:
40% sugar
55% potassium nitrate
5% rust

Combine Ingredients
You will now need to pour all of those ingredients into a cup. After pouring them into the cup you will need to put little amounts of the ingredients into the motor and grind out all the ingredients using the pestle in order to assure no big particles.
Build an Engine Chamber
Now you will need to make a chamber for the ingredients to go into and you do this by taking pieces of the copy paper and wrapping them around a ball-point pen. You will also need masking tape to hold the chamber in place after wrappping it multiple times around the pen. After the chamber is complete, you will need to add clay to the bottom of the chamber to ensure none of the ingredients fall out of the chamber.

Funnel Ingredients Into Chamber
After building the chamber, you will need to funnel the ingredients into the chamberby rolling a piece of paper into a cone shape and pour the ingredients down into the chamber.
Packing
In order to ensure succesful rocket candy, one must make sure that the chamber is packed with the ingredients. To make sure of this you will need to use a hammer, but in my case i used a block and still had success. Take off the tip of the pen and use the other end to put down in the chamber. Use the hammer or block and hammer down the pen until there is no space left in the chamber. To make sure that the chamber is fully packed check and see if the outside of the chamber is firm. After you have fully packed it use the clay to fill the open side of the chamber.
Create a Nozzle
After the clay has thickened, you will need to use a drill to drill a small hole in the center of the chamber. This will allow all of the energy to release downward allowing the rocket to lift off.

Insert Igniter
After drilling a hole in the chamber, you need to insert an ignitor in order for the reaction to happen in the chamber. The release of the ingredients allows the rocket to lift into the air.
Finish Rocket
You have now completed the steps needed to shoot off a rocket. Now you need to find a model big enough to fit the chamber into and move to an open location away from other objects.
