How to Make Rock Magnets
This is a way to display your favorite rocks for everyone to see!
NOTE: If you are using clay, skip to step 2.
Supplies
You'll Need:
Rocks (flat rocks rocks work best, and about one or two inches in diameter is good)
Super glue or clay, if you don't have super glue. DO NOT USE air dry clay, unless you want to make a pattern on the rock! (don't use hot glue, cause smooth rocks will fall off of the magnets)
Magnets (make sure the magnets are strong, not flimsy)
Glue Method
First, get the rock to the side you want. Then, get the magnet and glue, and put the glue on the magnet (make sure the magnet and glue are on the right side), then stick the rock on, and wait for 24 hours for the glue to set, and there you go!
Clay Method
First, get the rock to the side you want. Then, get the magnet and clay, and knead the clay until it's nice and sticky, then put it on the magnet (and, of course make sure the magnet and clay are on the right side), then stick the rock on, and also, be a bit careful, because the rock could fall off the magnet!
