First, you will need your ingredients and baking supplies.

Supplies

You will need a large bowl, a mixer, measuring cup, a baking pan, and spatula.

Ingredients: Cake mix, 1 1/4 cups of water, 1/2 of vegetable oil, 3 eggs, and put icing to your liking.

In a large bowl, add cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. With a mixer, mix all the ingredients for about 2 minutes.

Bake

Pour ingredients into a greased pan, place into oven and set a timer for about 30 minutes.

When the timer goes off you want to pull out the cake and check it with a toothpick if its ready. If the toothpick is dry it is ready, and if it is wet its not ready. Let it cool for 10 minutes.

Icing (optional)

Once the cake has cooled down choose an icing of your liking. In this case I chose cream cheese because it goes well with red velvet cake.

Serve and Enjoy (No Pic)

Once you have put the icing in the cake, you can slice it, eat it, and enjoy.
