I show how to make origami paper lucky stars or wishing stars. It is an easy model to make, but uses paper strips and requires cutting. It is a cute model that doesn’t take much effort to make, which makes it easy to make a lot of them. The paper lucky stars are pretty similar to the paper lucky hearts which are made in a similar way. Origami paper strips can be bought or you can make the strips yourself. The lucky stars take less than a minute to fold, are super easy to make, and are 3 dimensional.

Origami is the traditional Japanese art of folding paper. The goal of this art is to create a representation of an object using geometric folds and crease patterns.

Materials

- Paper (you will need some paper that can be cut into strips.) I made my strips 1 cm x 20 cm.

- Scissors/ X-Acto knife.

- Ruler
