How to Make Papaya Ice Cream

Papaya fruits are good for health, but some people, especially children do not like to eat the fruit. Make some thing different from the fruit and they will like it

In this instructable let us see how we can make Ice Cream using a fully ripe Papaya

Ingredients

  • One medium sized, fully ripe Papaya
  • One cup of home-made Cream
  • One cup of Fresh Milk
  • One cup of Condensed Milk. We will open the tin and take out one cup when required

Cut Papaya

  • Trim both ends of papaya fruit and cut it in half
  • Remove any seeds and the white stuff lining inside the fruit with a spoon

Scoop Out Fruit

  • Using a spoon, scoop out the pulp and store in a bowl
  • You can discard the skin or send it to the compost bin

Drain Out Water

  • If you keep the scooped out pulp in the bowl for some time, the excess water will ooze out, which you can drain out
  • Beat the pulp with a spoon to break chunks and transfer to a deeper bowl

Add Ingredients

  • Add one cup of milk, one cup of condensed milk and one cup of cream to the fruit pulp in the bowl

Beat With Blender

  • Using an electric hand mixer, blend all ingredients together

Deep Freeze and Serve

  • Keep the bowl with the mixture in the freezer for about 3 hours
  • After 3 hours, the mix in the bowl will be partially cold
  • Transfer the Ice Cream to serving dishes and keep in the freezer till well set

The delicious Papaya Ice Cream can be served as dessert
