Hi there!

Get ready to make your own otto robot without 3d printer.

Let's do it!

Material Required

1. Micro servo sg90s x4

2. Arduino Nano

3. Piezo buzzer

4. Some jumper wires

5. Zero PCB

6. LIPO battery x2 (we need 7v)

7. Ultrasonic sensor

8. Cardboard piece

9. Plastic sheet (i have used PVC pipe and breast into plastic sheet a wooden block)

First of all you need to create legs of robot.

Mould the plastic in a way such that it is shown in the image.

Join a triangular block perpendicular to the foots in which you can join servo motor's shaft.

Now create a leg having a servo sized slot (as shown in image).

Now move to next step.

Creating the Body.

Cut the Cardboard piece as shown in image.

NOTE: Use hard and strong cardboard.

Now screw the servo motors in the given slot.

Now it's time to create the mouth part.

Cut four parts for mouth and join them using glue gun.

Make sure that the front part of mouth have two holes for ultrasonic sensor which will look as eyes of our robot.

NOTE: Don't cover the back part of the mouth so that it will be easier to determine the circuit during fault.

CIRCUIT AND CONNECTION

Now its time to assemble all the items and do the connection. Schematic is shown in the image. you can use it for doing proper connection. I have used my own created PCB here. If you wish you can use arduino nano servo shield.

Now, after completing all the connection it's time to add a switch and a charging port.

Also you need to program the arduino.

Moving ahead to next step.

FINISHING TOUCHES

Here i have used A4 sized template for adding for finishing touches.

Some papercraft are provided here. you can also use them whatever you like.
