How to Make Oreo Truffles
Here, you will learn how to make delicious Oreo Truffles.
Step 1: Gather Supplies
You will need the following ingredients:
- 1 pack of regular stuffed Oreos
- 1 pack of cream cheese
-1 bag of white chocolate chips
Step 2: Crush Oreos
For the first step, take all the oreos and place them into a large bowl. Grab anything available that can crush the cookies into small pieces. In my example, I used a jar. Crush the cookies until grainy.
Step 3: Add Cream Cheese and Mix
Once cookies are crushed up, add all the cream cheese into the same bowl and mix together with the cookies. The fastest and most effective way to do this is with your hands. It gets a bit messy but it is worth it in the end.
Mix until there are no dry cookies left at the bottom of the bowl and the mixture is a light brown.
Step 4: Roll Into Balls
After the cream cheese and Oreos are mixed together, roll the mix into 1/2 balls with your hands and place them on a non stick baking sheet or plate with parchment paper. In this example, I chose to use a non stick baking sheet.
Step 5: Cool the Oreo and Cream Cheese Balls
Place the trey of Oreo and cream cheese balls and place them into your freezer for about 15 mins until harden.
Step 6: Melt White Chocolate
While you are waiting for the Oreo cream cheese balls to harden, place the white chocolates into a small bowl and place in the microwave for a minute. Take our the bowl and stir. Put the bowl back into the microwave for 15-30 second increments until it is smooth.
Step 7: Cover Oreo Balls With Melted White Chocolate
Take the treys out of the refrigerator and set beside the bowl of melted white chocolate. Place a ball into the bowl of melted chocolate and use a spoon to coat it and place it back onto the baking sheet. Do for the whole batch.
After all the white chocolate is gone and the balls are back on the sheet, place the treys back into the refrigerator for 10-15 mins until chocolate has hardened.
Step 8: Take Out of Refrigerator and Ready to Eat
Once they have hardened, they are ready to be plated and eat. Enjoy!
