Supplies
Gram Crackers
Butter
Cream Cheese
Whipped Topping
Cheery Pie Filling
Vanilla Extract
Powdered Sugar
Rubber spatula
Fork
Large mixing bowl
Sugar
9x13 baking pan
Medium mixing bowl
Pam cooking spray
Measuring Cups
First, to start locating all the ingredients and supplies needed. Locate your baking pan size 9x13, along with a rubber spatula, large mixing bowl, medium mixing bowl, and a fork. For the ingredients, collect gram crackers, cream cheese, cherry pie filling, powdered sugar, butter, whipped topping, vanilla extract, sugar, and pam cooking spray. Once you have located all your supplies and ingredients you are ready for the next step.
Beginning the Crust
Second, in a large mixing bowl, to begin make crust, smash2 ½ cups of the gram crackers down and then add ¾ cups melted butter, and 2 tbsp. of sugar into the bowl. Once that is completed you will spray the pan with pam cooking spray. Once the pan has been sprayed you are going to want to but your crust base in the pan and mash it all down as even as possible with your fork. Then prebake the crust in the oven for 10 minutes on 375 degrees. After ten minutes pull out of oven and allow to cool.
Start Making Filling
Third, while the crust is in the oven start the filling layer. Locate medium mixing bowl and in that bowl place 2- 8-ounce packages of cream cheese softened (room temp) 1- 8-ounce tub of whipped topping, 1- cup of powdered sugar and 2tsp of vanilla extract. Mix until combined be careful not to over mix once the powered sugar is all mix in and no longer on the side of the bowl it is done. Check oven when done with this step to ensure 10 minutes is up.
Pour Filling on Top of Crust
Next, place the bowl with filling layer in it in the refrigerator for at least an hour or two to thicken it up. Once your filling has hardened for an hour or two, use the rubber spatula to place filling on top of crust evenly.
Add Cherry Pie Filling
Next, once the pie filling is on top of the crust, rinse of the rubber spatula and then open the cherry pie filling and carefully dump on top of the filling evenly. Place in fridge to harden for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
Serve and Enjoy
Lastly, pull out of fridge the next day or bring to a family event cut into piece, serve and enjoy.
