How to Make Name Badge in Tinkercad

Here is the Name Badge, that you can print it on 3D printer and use it as a keychain or use it as a decor for your room.

The first thing is to create a Name Badge is basis. You should drag box from side panel to the workspace. Then you can edit it.

Here on this pictures you can see my favorite dimensions for Name Badge. Length-90mm., width-20mm., hight-5mm.

The next step is to round the corners. In the top right corner you can see edit box and there you can find "Radius" button. When you drag it, corners of your badge rounding. But don't forget that the edges of structure should ALWAYS touch the grid!

One of the main parts in name badge is to put your name on it. You can use as scrabble as any other opportunities to put text on badge. I will use scrabble. So, you should drag it on our basis and will start to draw text. You will see a platform on which you can draw. On the top right you will see preview window. Be careful-your text should match with preview window and it should be on your badge. Do not forget that your letters should be connected with each other. After you are done, click "Done". One more thing, you have to resize your scrabble. It must be not higher than 7mm. and not lower than 5mm. I will leave 7mm.

First of all, you drag cylinder on your badge. Then click on black squares and chose size of your hole. My preferred sizes is: lengh-18mm., width-15mm.. After on the edit menu click "Hole", hold Shift button on your computer and click on your basis. Now you have a hole on your name badge.

On your side menu you can find a lot of things to add on your badge - hearts, stars and others figures. You can put them between your scrabble and hole. BUT do not make it so big and do it in the same height as scrabble.
