I show how to make 2 types of mini crossbow bolts/arrows. They are made to go with a mini crossbow that I made in another project. The bolts can fly pretty accurately and for a long distance. They are made with basic materials and are easy to make. The first type is made from a Q tip because it is light weight and can easily hold a needle. The second type is made with a wood skewer that can also be made to hold a needle or simply sharpened to a point. This is a fun project but if you make/use these take all of the necessary safety precautions as it can be potentially dangerous.

A quarrel or bolt is the arrow used in a crossbow. The name "quarrel" is derived from the French carré, meaning square, referring to the fact that they typically have square heads. Although their lengths vary, they are typically shorter than traditional arrows.
