How to Make Mini Blow Darts

I show how to make mini blow darts from shoe lace tips (aglets) and pins. The tip of a shoe lace is cut off leaving about half an inch of the lace still attached. The shoe lace attached to the tip if frayed and a pin is pushed through the center of the frayed lace. They are easy to make and are fun to use when you are bored. The darts have good accuracy and can go quite a long distance. The materials are simple and it can be made in a small amount of time. You can use a straw as a blowgun or a thin tube. This project is a simple and fun blowgun that can be made with some shoe laces, needles and a straw. Be safe.

-Cut off the aglet or plastic/metal tips from shoe laces leaving some of the shoe lace remaining.
-Cut a little more than you need so it can be trimmed to size.
-Fray the remaining bit of shoe lace.
-Insert a needle in the middle of the frayed part and push it through.
-Use epoxy or glue, I used contact cement. Glue the front of the pin and back of the pin.
