Ingredients:

❏ 5 Chicken breast

❏ 1 17.5 Oz bottle of Original Kraft Barbecue sauce

❏ 2-3 cups of oil

❏ Tony Chachere’s Original Creole seasoning (spicy, season to your taste preference)

❏ Garlic salt (add to your taste preference)

❏ 2-3 eggs

❏ 1 medium bowl of flour

❏ 3 tablespoons of brown sugar (optional)

❏ 1-2 tablespoons of honey (optional)

❏ 1 tablespoon of pineapple juice (optional)

❏ Half teaspoon of pepper (optional)

❏ Half teaspoon of salt (optional)

Prepare to Cook!

Step1 (2).jpg

Half fill your skillet with oil where it will cover the chicken. This usually takes 2-3 cups of oil depending on how deep your skillet or deep fryer is. Then turn the stove top on low heat to warm up the grease. Next you will preheat your oven temperature to 375 allowing 10-15 minutes for the oven to reach the correct temperature.

Prepare Your Meat!

Step 2 (2).jpg

Thoroughly clean your meat. Rinse and pull of the fat to your preference. After you have cleaned the meat you will cut the meat into 1-2 inch pieces, making them perfect bite size boneless wings! Next you will season the cut up chicken breast to your taste by lightly sprinkling the meat with the creole seasoning and garlic salt or your preferred seasoning of choice.

Prepare the Batter!

Mix 3 eggs and 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper into a bowl. Fill a medium-size bowl or zip lock bag with flour. Next you will completely cover your cut-up chicken in with the egg mix. Now you will take your meat out of the egg mixture and put it in the bowl with the flour and completely cover the meat with it.

Start Cooking!

Check grease to make sure that it is ready before putting the chicken in to ensure the chicken cooks properly. Start putting your meat in the grease. Each batch should take 4-6 minutes to cook. Be careful not to overcook your meat. Once the chicken is floating above the grease, it is done. Remove from the grease, drain, and then prepare to put it in the oven.

Make the Sauce!

Get a medium bowl to mix all ingredients in. Pour the entire bottle of Original Kraft Barbecue Sauce in a bowl. Mix in 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of honey. Then mix in 1 tablespoon of pineapple juice (optional).

Bake the Chicken!

Pour the barbecue sauce all over chicken. Check the oven and make sure it is hot and ready to bake. Put the chicken in the oven. Set a timer for 10-15 minutes. Check periodically to prevent drying out your chicken. If it's not as crispy as you desire, let it bake an additional 5-10 minutes.
