How to Make Hard Boiled Eggs
Have you ever craved hard boiled eggs that your parents always made for you, but have no idea how to make them, refer to this instructable on how to make the easiest and most delicious hard boiled eggs from right at home.
What You'll Need
Below is a list of items you'll need:
1) A dozen eggs
2) Large SaucePan
3) Salt
4) Ladle or Spoon of some sort
5) Tap Water
6) Timer
Bring Water to Hard Boil
Fill your saucepan about halfway with water from the tap. Does not matter weather you use hot or cold water. Next, place the pan on a stovetop on high. Leave the temp at high throughout the entire time. Finally, put a few pinches of salt in the water to bring the water to a hard boil faster. Now just wait till the water is boiling and move on to the next step from here.
Boil Eggs
Once the water is boiling, use your ladle or spoon to set each egg into the water. Be careful and don't drop the eggs on the bottom as they will crack open. Once all 12 eggs are in the boiling water, set your timer for 20 minutes. Don't worry if the boiling went away as you put the eggs in as it will come back soon. Now wait 20 minutes and move on to the next step.
Submerge the Eggs in Water
Once 20 minutes is up, take your saucepan with the eggs inside and place it in the bottom of the sink. Submerge the eggs under cold water for about 3-4 minutes. This will shock the inside of the egg to ensure they are done cooking.
