Decide the size & shape of your wax bar.

I used a cheese hard plastic container 12x8cm.

Choosing a size slightly larger than your palm will make the bar easier to hold while applying wax to your clothing.

  • You can measure the wax on a kitchen scale or you can mark your container in 1/10th for measuring.

Add wax to your container. Smaller pieces melt faster.

  • Height - Final thickness varies according to size of wax pieces. Account for this. I added about

Rub it in to your clothing. This is a slightly tedious tasks, best done while watching tv!

Then blow dry the wax into your garment, for the first few minutes of wearing, it feels a bit stiffer but that changes almost instantly. Your garment is now wind and highly water-resistant. More layers will increase the water resistance.
