How to Make Earrings With Changeable Charms

I love to wear earrings and I decided that I wanted to make some. But I only had one earring attachment, so I was trying to decide what charm to make when I found my jewelry clips. Then I had the Idea to make changeable charms and It worked. I will show you the charms I made and you will see how they can easily be switched.

You will need:

Jump rings

Earring attachments

Nail polish

Jewelry clips

Small rocks for Jewelry making

Wire for the rocks

To make the rainbow earring charms you first need to choose your little rocks that are the colors of the rainbow. Then put them on the little wire. At the top of the wire put a jewelry clip. I choose a gold one. Then wrap the wire around its self so it keeps the clip in place. Then you are done with the first set of charms.

For these earrings you need to do exactly what you did with the rainbow earrings. But you can choose different rocks and a different clip. Then you are done with this set of charms.

For these earrings you need 5 jump rings per earring. First connect them all so they create a chain. Then take your favorite nail polish. Now paint your jump rings. Let them dry before you do anything. Once they are dry you can open the top jump ring. Now put the earring clip through the top jump ring and close the jump ring. Now these two charms are done.

For this last set of charms take one jump ring and put a bunch of other jump rings around it. Then put the clip around the jump ring. Now close the jump ring and you are done with these two charms.

Now you can see how easily your charms will clip and unclip from your earring attachments. This is what they look like when you are wearing them. I had so much fun with this I hope some other people can to.
