How to Make DaNaysha's Kool-Aid

Kool-Aid has been a refreshing drink with a variety of flavors for decades. Kool-Aid is also a good way to get your children to drink water. The best thing about Kool-Aid is that it is very inexpensive and lasts a long time. Here are my steps to making a good pitcher of Kool - Aid.

Get All of These Things Below:

· One pack of Kool-Aid any flavor of choice

· Strong plastic or glass pitcher

· Sugar

· Cold water

· Big spoon with long handle

· Ice cubes(optional)/Fridge

· Measuring cup

· Drinking cups

Pour the Kool-Aid Into a Large Pitcher

*to keep from splashing place pitcher in kitchen sink. The pitcher needs to be big enough to hold at least a gallon of water. Pour your favorite Kool-Aid packet(s) into pitcher.

Adding the Sugar

*Decide how sweet you like your Kool-Aid and

how much sugar you want in it. Pour just 1 1/2 cup of sugar in the pitcher.

Add the Water

Pour cold water into Kool-Aid but *stop about 3/4 inches away from top.

Stir the Ingredients Well.

Use a long spoon to stir thoroughly. Keep stirring for about three minutes, until the sugar completely dissolves. If you drink it too fast, the sugar will still be in its crystal form. Make sure ALL the sugar dissolves (you can look at the spoon to check if dissolved.)

Taste Test Your Kool-aid

Taste to see if this is good for you before adding more sugar. See if it needs more sugar or water. Everyone likes their Kool-Aid to taste a little different. If you like your Kool-Aid to be really sweet like me pour 2 or 3 cups in the pitcher. Or if too sweet for you add more water. Then make any necessary adjustments.

Enjoy Over Ice!

Put In fridge for 30 minutes to chill before serving or serve right away by pouring the amount you want to drink in a cup and put in about 3 ice cubes.

Save Leftovers

Store your leftover Kool-Aid in the refrigerator for later use.
