I have always been a big DIY person. I love to make things, instead just buying it outright. Sometimes I end up spending way more money than what the ready to use package costs. But the real fun is actually figuring it out how you can make something out of easily available parts, that suits your needs and it costs a lot less. The best part of DIY is the things you learn along the way.

In this video, I show how I integrated "8Ch 5.8 Ghz Receiver" and "2S Lipo battery" inside the "7" LCD monitor" to make one compact FPV Ground Station. The ready system costs around $100 or more, and if it as diversity built in you looking at $150. But if you buy the Monitor, Video Receiver, Battery and some other little things like connectors and switches, you can make yourself entire system for under $60-$65.
