In this tutorial, we'll see just how easy it is to make custom stickers for your Argo, using vinyl and a Cricut machine. You can watch the YouTube video of the project here.

Things you'll need:

1. Cricut Explore

2. Cricut Standard Mat

3. Cricut Adhesive Mat

4. Scraping Tool

5. Vinyl

6. Transfer Tape

7. Fonts

Get the Measurements.

Measure the area where you want to put the sticker. Then, depending on how much space you want to leave around the sticker, figure out the size of the sticker. I have decided to make a 10 by 10 sticker for my Argo.

Select/make Your Design.

I put this design together using Cricut and Photoshop. I purchased the tree design on Etsy.

Then I went to Argo.com, saved the image and put it into Photoshop.

The Argo logo doesn't quite match my design, so I changed the color of the letters A-R-G-O.

Then, using the Quick Selection Tool, I removed the background of the Argo logo.

Next, I converted it into a PNG file and exported it into my Cricut Design.

Unlock the Design and Enter the Dimensions You Need.

You cannot change the size unless you unlock the design.

Also, once you are done with the sizing, it is extremely important to attach the design if it isn't already attached.

Stick the Vinyl Onto the Sticky Mat and Put in the Machine.

You could use Oracal Vinyl 651 or 631. I prefer 651.

Weed the Design and Get the Design Onto the Transfer Tape.

Once it is cut, you will need to weed it (remove the extra vinyl so that only your design remains).

Then, put the transfer tape onto the design and press well so that the complete design sticks to the tape.Use the scraping tool to squeeze out any air bubbles.

Thoroughly Clean the Area(on the Argo) With Rubbing Alcohol.

Peel the Transfer Tape Off the Vinyl.

Check the alignment of the design. Then place the transfer tape onto your Argo. Press well with your fingers and palms. Then use the scraping tool (with a little pressure) to remove any air bubbles and to make sure that the design sticks well.

Carefully Peel Back the Transfer Tape.

Take it slow and easy so that the vinyl remains on the Argo while the tape comes off. If you rush this through, you might get the design off as well. We definitely don't need that!

The Final Look!

And that's what our Argo looks like now!

Happy creating!
