How to Make Crepes
For those who like to try new food or just want to change up your breakfast menu a bit, then this is a recipe for you!
Supplies
- 1 cup flour
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ¼ tsp vanilla
Measure Ingredients
First, grab your ingredients and start measuring. This recipe makes 4-6 crepes, double or triple if needed. Make sure to properly measure your ingredients.
Mixing Ingredients
Now pour your ingredients into a blender, (if you have one) and set it to liquefy for 30 seconds or until ingredients are properly mixed. If you don't have a blender or you feel comfortable mixing by hand, you can mix the ingredients in a bowl for 2-3 mins.
Cooking
Once ingredients are properly mixed, you can let the mix sit while you melt some butter on your pan. This prevents the crepe from sticking to the pan. When the butter is melted you can pour some of the mixture from the blender to the pan. Right away rock the pan around in the air to help spread out the mixture because you don't want it to be too thick.
Remove From Stove
Remove the crepe from the pan once it is fully cooked. You can tell it's done when the edges start to curl up and it is no longer sticking to the pan.
Add Your Fillings
Add the fillings of your choice, examples of fillings would include your preferred spread such as Nutella or chocolate, fresh fruit like melon or berries, powdered sugar, whip cream, etc.
Folding Your Crepe
Fold your crepe. It's basically like folding a wrap or a soft taco. If you don't know here are the steps; fold bottom up and over the filling about an inch and then the sides, one over the other to secure the crepe.
