Here is an easy recipe for making chocolate, butterscotch, and cream cheese chip cookies. It takes about 40 - 60 minutes to make and makes 24 medium sized cookies.

Supplies

For this recipe, you’ll need:

  1. Bowl
  2. Whisk
  3. Measuring Cups
  4. Spoon or Cookie Scoop
  5. Baking Sheet(s)
  6. Cooling Rack (optional)
  7. Non-stick Spray (optional)
  8. Food Ingredients
  9. 2 Sticks of Butter (1 cup or 237ml)
  10. 2 Eggs
  11. 2 Teaspoons Vanilla (10ml)
  12. 1 Cup Sugar (237ml)
  13. 1 Teaspoon salt (5ml)
  14. 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda (5ml)
  15. 2 ½ Cups Flour (592ml)
  16. ¼ Cup Cream Cheese Chips (59ml)
  17. ¼ Cup Butterscotch Chips (59ml)
  18. ¼ Cup Chocolate Chips (59ml)

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375° Fahrenheit (190° Celsius).

Using a microwave safe bowl, microwave both of your sticks of butter for 45 seconds each or until softened.

Mixing Ingredients

Using your measuring cups, place the correct amount of each listed food indigent into the bowl and whisk until thoroughly combined.

For an easier mixing experience, refrain from adding the flour into the mixture until the remaining ingredients have been whisked.

Add Chips

Add your chips into the bowl and incorporate them into the mixture using either a whisk, mixer, or your hands.

Feel free to add more than the listed amount or substitute different ingredients at this stage.

Scooping

If you do not have nonstick baking sheets, apply a nonstick cooking spray to your baking sheet(s) and use a spoon or cookie scoop to portion your cookies onto the sheet(s). Creating medium sized dough balls, I ended up have a total of 24 cookies across two baking sheets.

Keep in mind, using larger dough balls will give you larger cookies, but less cookies overall.

Baking

Once preheating has finished, using a pair of oven mitts, place your baking sheet(s) into the oven and set to bake for anywhere between 9 – 11 minutes.

Checking the Cookies

Once the time is up, check to make sure your cookies are thoroughly baked before cooling the cookies. Take a pointed utensil, like a fork, and insert it into the center of the cookie. If the fork comes out with cookie bits, preheat the oven once more and leave the cookies inside for another 2-5 minutes. Afterwards, check again and repeat until the utensil comes out clean.

Feel free to remove the cookies early though if you like a gooey center.

Cooling

Place the baking sheet on the oven or move the cookies onto a wire rack if you have one. Then wait around 5 minutes for the cookies to cool before consuming.

Enjoy

Eat them, sell them, or do whatever you want with them. The cooking part is done.
