How to Make Colorful Candle Holders.

How to make colorful candle holders with clay.

• Air dry caly
• paint
• paint brushes
• some thing to cut clay with ( you can use an exacto nife, a clay knife... )
• some paper and pencils
• rolling pin
• varnish(opcional)
• pallete
• sand paper(optional)

You can use any shape to do this i used a flower. You can draw it by hand, or fold your paper in 4 quarters and draw part of the flower on one then just cut it out and there you go a perfect flower (I added circle the size of my candle in the middle)

I rolled out my clay and traced my flower on to it i made the cicness around half a centemider. And then measured my candle and cut.

Score the clay and add some clay on the outside and inside then smooth it out.

Once the clay is dry sand your pieces down till smooth.

You can really paint them how ever want. I decided to paint them with the colors of the rainbow. You can add dots lines wathever you want. After they have dried i would recomend putting some varnish on top to protect them.
