How to Make Brownies
In this instructable, you will be learning how to make a super easy and quick, everyday brownie recipe.
Recipe:
Everyday Brownies:
1 1/4 sticks (10 tablespoons) unsalted butter
1 3/4 cups packed dark brown sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch salt
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
About 6 ounces milk chocolate, chopped into small nuggety chunks (or 1 cup chips)
Confectioners' sugar, to dust, optional
Step 1:
Preheat your oven to 375 degress F. Melt the butter over a gentle heat in a medium saucepan.
Step 2:
When the butter is fully melted, add the dark brown sugar, and stir to help blend with the melted butter.
Step 3:
Whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, and pinch of salt, and then stir into the pan; when mixed (this will be a very dry mixture), remove from the heat.
Step 4:
In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs and vanilla. Then, put the egg mixture into the pan and stir.
Step 5:
Stir the chocolate chips into the brownie batter.
Step 6:
Pour the brownie batter into your desired pan and put them in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until and toothpick comes out clean.
