How to Make Binary to Decimal(BCD) Counter Project With Circuit Diagram ( With Explanation )
In this video I've tried to show you "How to Make Binary to Decimal(BCD)
counter project with Circuit Diagram" . I've discussed how it works & gave a small explanation of IC & circuit diagram . This is a most basic project & also an important stuff for EEE or Electronics Engineering students . It embedded in Digital Electronics or Digital Logic Design . We've used a Counter IC named (CD-4511) to complete the project . BCD counter actually convert the given Binary inputs to Decimal output . We've used 4 bit binary codes to accomplish the project . You may add as your own choice . None is stopping you btw :)
For Completing This Project You'll Need These Components Below:
1. IC (CD-4511) 2. 1 digit 7-segment Anode/Cathode display 3.Power supply 4.Wires 5.Breadboard

For the pin-out of a 7-segment LED Display : https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7qarf3_2VkVMFF4VjVSNzUwcUU So you'll just have to connect those lines in the breadboard as shown in the circuit diagram. And there you go . The main reason of this experiment is to determine the working process of a Binary to Decimal coded design . And it'll also opens the gate to design more with this single logic . So hope this video helps you a bit to get understand about Binary to Decimal converting process. Hope in future you may apply these stuffs in real life also .
