Fold in ½ cup of sour cream. Folding means to scoop and flip over to gently combine two mixtures. For best results, peel and mash bananas in the microwavable bowl by spoon or hand before adding them to the mixture. Mash to desired thickness.

Transfer Mixture

Pour mixture into loaf pan. Gently move the pan on the counter horizontally and vertically to evenly spread.

CHOCOLATE!!!!

Now you’re ready for the best part! You can get creative and add a ½ cup of chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, Reese's pieces, nuts, or any other ideas you may have. Lightly spread them on top as they will sink towards the middle while cooking.

Let's Get Baking!

Finally! Your banana bread is ready for the oven. Place it on the center rack and set the timer for 60 minutes.

Is It Done Yet?

When the timer goes off, a great way to check and see if it is fully cooked is to place a toothpick in the center of the loaf and pull it straight up. If there is any batter on it, put it back in the oven for an extra 5 minutes, repeat the process as necessary. If it comes out clean, it’s ready to cool off.
