How To: Livestream to Rumble from OBS Studio
Supplies


- OBS Studio - downloaded and installed
- Rumble Account - ready to livestream
Setup a Rumble Livestream





- Login to Rumble Account
- Login to Rumble or Create Account
- (use a provided or personal username and password)
- Go Live: rumble.com/live
- Upload a Placeholder Video up to 60 seconds long,
- Uploaded video which will be looped before the stream starts.
- Wait until the placeholder video has finished being uploaded
- Click "Streamer Configuration" button to get a Stream URL (RTMP) and a Stream Key.
- Copy the URL of the "View Live Stream" button
- The view livestream url is the Rumble View Livestream Link for sharing the livestream!
- Secure Credentials
- Safely store the View Livestream Link, Stream URL (RTMP) and Stream Key
- You will need all of these credentials
- Note: To stream with Rumble, you will require streaming software. Rumble is compatible with all providers that use RTMP; includes: OBS, StreamYard, Restream, and many other livestream broadcast softwares.
Setup OBS Livestream Settings


- Enter the Rumble Livestream "stream configuration" into the streaming software Settings of OBS Studio
- Stream URL (RTMP)
- Stream Key
- Select Use authentication
- Enter Rumble Account Username and Password
Setup OBS Studio - Sources


- Click the ➕ Plus Button in Sources
- Select Video Sources
- Such as: Window Capture or Screen Capture
- Select Audio Sources
- Such as: Desktop Audio Output or Mic Audio Input
- Insure both Audio Sources and Video Sources are working
- Are any audio sources set?
- Are any video sources set?
- Can you see video on OBS viewport?
- Do you see audio levels changing in the Audio Mixer sound measurement bars?
Stream to Rumble With OBS Studio


- Select Start Streaming on the right side under “Controls”
- Test Livestream by entering the Rumble View Livestream Link*(from step 1) into a browser search bar
- Test & Confirm
- Can you see live video feed?
- Can you hear audio or sound?
- Can others see live video feed?
- Can others hear audio or sound?
- Check & Check
- Do you hear echo, distortion or reverb?
- Does lighting and scene look good?
- Does every person's volume level match well?
- Are video feeds cutting out or appearing choppy?
