How to Knit a Snowman on Your Addi Express Knitting Machine

snowmaninstructable.png

This little snowman is a quick and easy winter project done on the Addi Pro Knitting Machine. Mine measures about 7 1/2" tall, but you could also make a much larger version on the Addi King. I made this one for a friend who loves and collects snowmen.

Gather Your Supplies

You will need:
Addi Express Professional Knitting Machine (or Addi Express King Size Knitting Machine to make a large snowman)

Small Amounts of White Worsted Weight Yarn

Fiberfill or Scrap Yarn (for stuffing)

Yarn Needle or Blunt Tapestry Needle

Small Amounts of Worsted Weight Yarn for Hat

Hand Sewing Needle

2 Buttons, approx 5/8" in diameter

Sewing Thread to Match the Buttons

A Small Scrap of Orange Felt

Orange Sewing Thread

Black Bulky Weight Yarn

Scissors

A Length of Knitted I-Cord (about 13") for the Snowman's Scarf (optional)

Beeswax, through which you may run your sewing thread to keep it from tangling (optional)
