How to Install Two Dog Tie Out - the Double Dog Run System

Hi There- having two dogs and no way to build a fence, I needed to come up with a solution.

Today the Double Dog Run is the only truly tangle-free dog tie out / pet tethering system that can hold not just one but two dogs and does not tangle. Below are some links to our individual products that can be purchased on our website.

We sell two systems, one for small and medium dogs and another for large and XL breed dogs.

You decide which is best and we will keep you pets tangled-free!

Tangle-free Tie Out for Small and Medium Dogs (up to 500 pounds)

Tangle-free Tie out for Large and XL Dogs (up to 800 pounds)

Now, onto the instructions!......

Place Base Plate on the Ground.

Tip: Works best on a flat area.

Install the Ground Anchor

Center the ground anchor in the center hole in the base plate. Pressing firmly, screw the ground anchor into the ground. As the ground anchor gets closer to the base, move the base to ensure that it is centered.

Tip: Should it become difficult to continue to screw in with your hands, wedge a screwdriver (or an equivalent tool) between “D” ring portion of the ground anchor and use as a handle to twist. This will give you more leverage.

Continue to screw in the ground anchor until you can’t go any further and the anchor is flush against the base plate. Give the ground anchor a few more turns to ensure that the anchor and base plate are secure.

Attach the Jaw and Eye Swivel to the Ground Anchor

Take the “Jaw & Eye” Swivel in your hand, remove the pin from the one side by bending it with your fingers.

Now, pull the bar completely out and slide the opening of the swivel over the “D” Ring on the Ground anchor.

**Put the pin back where it came from and bend it so that the bar is secure.**

Install the Tangle-free Topper

Place the tangle-free topper over top of the jaw and eye. Push the jaw and eye through the hole in the topper. Then, align the holes in the topper along with the holes in the base plate. Use the 4 screws to attach the topper to the base.

**Ensure that the jaw and eye is completely pulled through the hole in the topper before screwing the topper to the base plate.**

Add the Other Hardware to the Jaw and Eye Swivel
