How to Hang a Light

This tutorial will show you how to hang a basic stage light on the catwalk.

What you will need:
-Stage Light
-Wrench
-Catwalk

Climb up to the catwalk with the light you want to hang. Make sure to bring a wrench with you. Find the spot on the catwalk where you would like to hang the light.

Hold the light over the edge, then pull it back towards you so that the C-clamp on the light is on the bar. Tighten the screw as much as you can with your fingers, then tighten another quarter turn with a wrench. Attach the safety cable so that it loops through the yolk and around the pipe.

Take the cord from the light, plug it into an empty one from the catwalk, and twist them so that they lock.
