Hello and welcome to this instructable. Today I will be teaching you how to make a ball that’s safe to kick in the house and won’t put a dent in your wall. The ball can be used for soccer, basketball, and other sports.

The first thing you do when hand crochet is tie a knot around your pointer finger and make sure your palm is facing you. Next you have to cross weave in between your fingers until you reach your pointer finger for the 4th time. You should have two rows of circles on your 4 fingers. Once you have that you have to pull the circles on the bottom over the ones on the top and over your finger. Repeat till you have a long rope/scarf looking object.

Step 2: How to End the Rope/scarf Object

This step is easy. All you have to do is take the circles off your fingers and then tighten the knot that was on your pointer finger to get rid of any gaps in the rope/scarf object.

Step 3: How to Turn It Into a Ball

(The final step). For this part you take the rope/scarf object and wrap it around your hand until you think your hand might get stuck. Take the rope/scarf off your hand and keep raping it around the little yarn ball until it becomes bigger. Finally put any excess rope/scarf and tuck it into the ball.
