How to Hack a Wii Without Anything But a Internet Connection

hack a Wii without anything but an internet connection (you need an sd card to use hacks and mods if you want to use mods or hacks look at my instructable about how to hack and mod a Wii with just an Android phone and a micro sd card).

A Wii, Wii remote with charged batteries that is synced to the Wii, all the cords you need for the Wii, and a tv (jk you just need a Wii that is hooked up to a tv and a controller and all of those have to work).

First you want to go the Wii options menu and then you need to click Wii settings and make sure your Wii is on version 4.3 or higher(the letter next to the version doesn’t matter). If your Wii isn’t on version 4.3 or higher you will need to update it (see next step). If your Wii is up to date you can go straight to step 3.

You will need to go to Wii system settings if you aren’t already there and go over to the third page and click Wii system update. If it says error code 51330 (as seen in the picture)connect to your internet and try again. Otherwise it should update.

Now you are going to go to internet, connection settings, click on your connection, and do the connection test. After doing the connection test you might get a pop up to update if you are on 4.3 or higher you can click no but this will be the last time you can update your Wii so if you want to do so now. Then you want to click on change settings, go left until you see Auto-Obtain DNS, click no, and then click advanced settings. Then you need to change the primary dns, enter 3.143.163.250 after entering the dns click okay then confirm and do the connection test again. It will ask you to update just press no otherwise it might break your Wii

Now your going to go back until you see user agreements and click it than press yes to connect to Wiiconnect24. It will say you need to agree to the agreement to use the network click next. It will take you to a screen that says it will take 1-2 minutes (see picture) DO NOT CLICK ANYTHING otherwise your Wii will break and you will have to do it all over again. If your Wii stops responding or your Wii remote isn’t moving anymore turn off your Wii and try step 3 and 4 again. It will then take you take you to a black screen that says network loader v1.2 this is normal. If you get an error or your Wii freezes turn it off and try steps 3 and 4 again. If it works it will look like it is breaking and your Wii is about to explode it is supposed to do this.

You will get a screen that looks like the picture above after 30 seconds press the 1 button it will take you to the hackmii installer press continue, install the homebrew browser, then yes, continue. It should say success press continue, then exit. You now have the homebrew channel and a hacked Wii.
