How to Get Ready for a Race

Getting ready to run in a race can be stressful! Following these steps can help you a lot before a race!
Hydrate
Running on a hot day can really make you tired. Drinking water is one of the most important things you can do before a race!
The key is to drink half of your body weight in ounces! For an ex.: if you weigh 100lbs then drink 50 oz of water!

How to Train
Make sure you don’t do any big running workouts! Going on an easy jog for 30 min is great before a race!
Ice
The day before your race you are going to want to make sure that you ice any pains that you have in your legs!
Food
Food is another things you need to watch before your going to run! Make sure you have pasta the day before you run. The morning of your race you can have a bagel with peanut butter on it, and you will get a great source of protein!
