How to Get Flex Kwik Off the Skin
Got Flex Kwik on your skin and don't know how to remove it?
Don't worry, stay calm! I've been there too, and I can assure you this glue is fully removable from your hands.
After several successful attempts, I've found the best methods to get this adhesive off safely. Follow this simple guide to save time and avoid irritation.
Supplies
- Acetone or Nail Polish Remover (optional)
- Ice Cubes
Use Acetone to Remove the Glue
Not everyone will have acetone lying around, but if you do, try removing the glue with it first.
- Soak a cotton ball with acetone or nail polish remover.
- Gently press the soaked cotton ball onto the glue and hold it for a few minutes.
- Rub the area gently until the adhesive dissolves.
- Wash the area thoroughly to remove any acetone residue, as acetone is flammable.
- Moisturize your skin, if necessary.
Next Option: Apply the Ice to the Affected Area
Hold the ice cubes against the area with Flex Kwik for a couple of minutes.
The cold will help make the glue brittle.
Gently Scrape Off the Glue
Once the glue is hardened, gently scrape it off with your fingernail or a plastic scraper.
Be careful not to damage your skin in the process.
Wash the Area
After removing most of the adhesive, wash the area with mild soap and water.
This helps to remove any remaining glue fragments.
