Heat Up Curling Iron

Plug in curling iron and allow it to heat up for about 3-5 minutes to the desired temperature. Depending on the thickness of your hair the temperature can vary but your iron should be at least 325°. (See figure 2)

While your iron is heating up brush and detangle your hair to ensure that it is free of any knots or tangles. This will make sectioning and curling your hair easier. (See figure 3)

WARNING BURN HAZARD. Curling iron should be placed on a hard flat surface away from all flammable objects and out of reach to avoid injury. Do not immerse in water, household use only.

Spray Heat Protectant Throughout Hair

Spray heat protectant throughout hair to seal in moisture, prevent frizz, and to avoid heat damage caused by the curling iron.

Next section out the bottom of your hair and tie up the rest with a hair tie to keep your hair out of the way and to make sure every part of your hair is curled.  (See figure 4)

Curl Hair

Take small/medium size sections of your hair and pass your comb through your sectioned hair. If you have a heat resistant glove you may put it on now.

Spray the section with the Got2b Glued Blasting Freeze Hairspray sprits and wrap hair around the barrel of your curling iron. Hold this position for 10-20 seconds and then release the curl. (See figure 5)

Pin Up the Curl

Coil your hair upwards into a circular motion using both your pointer fingers. (See figure 6)

Once you've reached the top of your hair, bobby pin the coiled hair to the scalp. This will allow for a longer lasting curl while also keeping your hair out the way as you curl the rest of your hair. (See figure 7)

Take Out Bobby Pins

After you have curled all of your hair and securely bobby pinned the curls to your scalp, allow the curls to cool down. Once they have cooled down you can take out bobby pins to release your curl. (For a longer lasting effect and tighter curl, you could also wrap your hair and sleep with the bobby pins overnight and then take them out the following morning.) (See figure 8)

Once all the bobby pins are out your head, spray a final coat of Got2b Glued Blasting Freeze Hairspray. Then run fingers through hair to separate curls for a more natural look. This also adds volume to the hair. (See figure 9)
