How to Fold a Shirt
Time to clear the dining table or find another suitably flat and preferably clean surface to lay out the shirt.
Lay the Shirt on a Flat Surface With the Front of the Shirt Facing Down.
Don’t bother with the bed as it’s too soft to smooth out creases on and don’t even think about putting it on the floor where you just walked in your old runners. Once you’ve found your clean and even surface, lay your shirt out flat and fasten all the buttons before smoothing out those creases.
Fold the Left Sleeve in Toward the Center of the Shirt.
Fold the entire section that is on the outside of the folding line over until it rests neatly under the collar. If you keep a hold of the bottom point of the folding line, you’ll stand a better chance of getting this fold right.
Repeat the Same Fold on the Right Side.
Now don’t rush and start with the other side, you’ll want to sort out that sleeve first. Do this by folding the sleeve back on itself but make sure that it runs in line with the folded section as this will minimize the chances of creasing when packed.
Fold the Bottom Tail of the Shirt Up So That the Edge Touches.
You'll want to fold the bottom halfway to make sure all the creases are perfect. Take this time to properly refold any pieces that were left untidy.
Then Fold the Bottom Portion of the Shirt Upward Onto the Top of the Collar.
Do this by grabbing the bottom corners and folding them halfway up the shirt. Then you grab your two new bottom corners and fold these all the way up to the collar.
