How to Fix Any NOT WORKING Infrared Remote Control

Have you ever encounter you grab your remote control and turn your appliances on and it doesn't work you think it's just a Low Battery situation that it could be FIX, But when you change it it doesn't work at all and you give up you just toss your remote.

It's an hassle to go to the appliances and just turn it on. so I have a solution for that would 90% work for your remote.

Material



• Isopropyl Alcohol
• Any Cloth or Cotton
• 2x Fresh new Battery
• Replacement capacitor and Some Ir Led when it's busted.




Tools



• Something Flat to pry it like Flat Screw driver
• Soldering iron
• A Camera
• A Multimeter


Test It!!

Probably you just change batteries,then it doesn't work.

Try to check if it emits infrared light using your camera.

Infrared light is cant be seen by our naked eyes that why we need a camera.

you don't want to open it and found out it works right?

Use your Flat screw

Clean!!!!

use an isopropyl alcohol to clean the PCB and "Rubber Touch button"

RE-FLOW ALLL!!!!

You know when electronics heat up and dry up the fux and drop it or It's just getting old like 6 or 7 years old, then you make a cold solder. you just disconnect the connection of it.

So you need to RE-FLOW the solders and add some fux.

Check for Leakage of Capacitor or Look Inspect IR LED

Sometimes the capacitor must be replaced and the ir led tooo.
