How to Fix a Zipper on a Jacket - Super Easy

Have you ever had a favorite jacket and the zipper just stopped working? You start to zip it up and the sides just separate. It really sucks if you are trying to run out the door.

Here is a quick and easy way to fix that problem.

First pull the zipper back to the starting location. Then using some pliers, preferably the ones with the small gap in the center, grip the zipper around the lower outside edge. Make sure not to crush the pull tab and give it a gentle squeeze. And repeat that process on the other side. Then try to zip it up again.

If it still separates, try squeezing the pliers a little harder, but be careful because over tightening is not good either.

Now you can enjoy your favorite jacket again.
