How to Fix a Zipper Pull

It can be frustrating when a zipper pull snaps and comes apart leaving you with nothing to hold onto to open your zipper. With FixIts and a paperclip you can create a new pull in under 5 minutes.
Supplies

Ways to boil water :
- Kettle
- On a hob in a pan
- Heat cup of water in Microwave (without the FixIts stick)
Vessel (avoid plastic as FixIts can stick to it)
- Glass cup or
- Ceramic cup
Tools
- Hairdryer
Paper clips
Attach a Paperclip Through the Zip Loop

Thread you paperclip through the zipper as shown
Soften the FixIt Stick

Heat your FixIts stick up and pinch off what you need
Mould FixIts Around the Paperclip

Mould your molten FixIts around the paperclip and give it a smooth finish.
ProTip to Reheat Fixits

If you make a bit of a mess of it the first time around, you can always reheat your FixIts to make it soft again, at which point you can reshape it and give it a nicer finish.
