I know that I say this every time, but the most important thing you need to know when learning how to find the area of a triangle is the formula.

The formula is 1/2(b x h)

B stand for base, and H stands for height.

This is where you actually do some math.

In my example, I will be assuming that the triangle's base is 5 inches and the height 5 inches.

Take the formula, 1/2(b x h), and once you exchange the b and the h for the actual numbers, it should look like this, 1/2(5x5).

Times the 2 numbers in the middle of the parenthesis and you get 25, now divide that by 2, and you have your answer!

If you do your math, this should equal 12.5

Conclusion

Thank you for reading this instructable!

I hope you learned something new today :D
