How to Draw Ice Wings From Wings of Fire (and Other Tribes of Pyrrhia) *headshots

Calling all WoF fans!! Drawing your favorite tribes can be simple and fun. A dragon headshot can take up to 30 mins or can be done in a matter of minutes. So get comfy, grab a sketch book, and draw!!! Note: it may take patience, your snout shape may take a little while to get just right. Sorry in add advance for low quality photos.

Supplies:
•Pencil and eraser
•Sketch book/thick paper (so your markers don't bleed through)
•Fine liners
•High quality markers (I recommend Copic alcohol based markers)

Simply draw a rough circle and put a small + on the left edge

Start by drawing a horizontal line level to the +, from here draw a short vertical line from the right end of your first one, round the connection off, it should look like an backwards L. Now from the left side of your horizontal line curve the line down, go straight down only a little then slant your line towards the circle you drew. When you think your snout is thick enough finish it off but curving your line e back into a horizontal one.

From the horizontal line that ended your snout, draw a short line down, and a long curved neck.

From the the vertical line you drew add a medium length, slightly curved horizontal line.

From the edge of your line draw a curved vertical line, then a line from here to close to the neck line, connect the distance with a short line.

Add your horn as shown be the picture. You can be creative, there are many different kinds of horns, straight, curly, ect.

Draw your mouth, be creative, do it how you want it, give your dragon expression. Don't forget a nostril.

Add an ear slightly below your horn

Draw to parallel lines to your neck line, space them a shown in the pictures.

If wanted, erase the bits of your circle and the + , from were your plus was add your eye, it doesn't have to be on the plus but normally that area will work. Add a beak, the picture shows were to place it, draw a line that goes up then curves to the right, draw the line up and around until you meet the front of your eye, continue the line on the other side of the eye. Draw a small line from the first bend of that line to the top of your snout.

Have fun with it, make it any of the tribes shown in pictures, or make hybrids, pantala tribes, or even your own tribes. *note: mudwings are not shown because they need a flatter snout. Add details on the underbelly or scale details. Don't forget about jewelry!!!

This is my favorite step, trace your drawing with your fine liner and go crazy with color!!!
