How to Do a Kip-up
I made a simple instruction tutorial on how to do a kip-up because its a simple skill that could be easily used to impress people in any setting.
Supplies
All that is required is a flat piece of ground roughly 7 or 8 feet squared
Lying Phase
Lie on your back and raise your legs as close to your chest and as straight as you can while simultaneously placing your hands palm down fingers pointing towards the shoulders in the space above the shoulders.
Power Phase
Initiate a slight back roll as if going to roll on your head then quickly making use of the momentum, push with your hands to shoot the whole body up and forward
Landing Phase
Land on your feet a little bit widely spaced (shoulder width) and go into a deep squat position
Completion
Using the momentum generated push the whole body forward on the tips of your feet and stand upright
