  1. Rat-tail comb
  2. braiding hair
  3. braiding gel
  4. hair clips
  5. scissors
  6. Hot water
  7. towel
  8. wide tooth comb

Prep and detangle the hair.

Wash or spray your hair and apply detangle chemical. detangle fully using wide tooth comb to prevent pain and breakage while braiding your hair.

Part the hair into sections

use rat tail comb to divide the hair into sections. secure each with clips, this helps keep your parts neat and manageable.

Part and clean your first row

starting from the nape, use the rat tail comb to create whatever desires parts you desire. apply braiding gel on the part to create and sharpen the parts.
